Proverbs 3:13–26
1. Introduction
Reminder that true wisdom begins with trusting and obeying God from previous lesson (Prov 3:1-12). Many people believe that money, success, or stability will bring peace. Proverbs teaches that “wisdom from God” is more valuable than any earthly treasure. Those who hold onto wisdom experience life, peace, and confidence—even during difficult times.
2. Main Idea
God’s wisdom is more valuable than any wealth, bringing lasting peace and security; a life that trusts and obeys His commands is a truly wise life. True wisdom is reliance on God and His Word.
3. Explanation of the Passage
• “Blessed is the one who finds wisdom” (vv. 13–15): emphasis v13
Wisdom from God is worth more than gold or silver because it shapes a meaningful life.
• “A tree of life” (v. 18)
Wisdom brings lasting joy, stability, and blessing.
• “The LORD founded the earth by wisdom” (vv. 19–20)
Wisdom is part of God’s design for creation and life.
• “You will not fear sudden disaster” (vv. 23–26): emphasis v23 & 26
“The Lord will be your confidence”
Wisdom brings peace and confidence, even in uncertain situations.

Lord, teach me to value Your wisdom more than money or success. Help me hold tightly to Your truth so that I may walk in peace, confidence, and hope in every season of life. Please help me rely on you as my source of confidence and security. Amen.
